Sea kayaking allows you to see, touch and smell the beauty of nature from a place few have ever done before.
The Wilsons Promontory 2 Day Wilderness Escape offers a discovery of Corner Inlet and the wilderness areas of Wilsons Promontory. Too far to walk, but considered an easy days journey by sea kayak. Instructional techniques in how to use your paddles and sea kayaks are progressive, focusing on empowering you, the kayaker to develop confidence and good sea judgement above all. Energy efficient sea kayak techniques allow you to relax and enjoy your surroundings without undue stress.
DAY 1 - Paddle to the sand dunes area for lunch and then cross the inlet to our campsite. Bush walks, native plants, abundant bird life and animals are abundant. Perhaps you will event get a glimpse of one of the many sea eagles in the area, or dolphins as they swim past our campsite. Camping is at Tin Mine Cove, on the beach, and tents are provided.
DAY 2 - Discover a different part of the inlet as we leisurely paddle back or go on to Port Welshpool via Nooramunga Marine Park, with the wind behind us!
The Wilsons Promontory 2 Day Wilderness Escape includes all your sea kayak gear, transits, meals, camping fees & tent accommodation. Bring your own sleeping bag!

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER & RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
It is a condition of participation that every person shall agree to be bound by the Assumption of Risk Policy and agree to the Waiver of Liability provisions by completing the documentation prior to arriving at an activity. The Assumption of Risk/Waiver of Liability Form and Medical History Form must be completed and returned prior to your departure date.
BOOKING FEES:
A deposit of 20% of the total fees applicable to an activity is to accompany any booking to ensure a place.
The balance of fees is to be paid 30 days prior to the activity date.
ROUTE/ITINERARY CHANGES & DELAYS:
Changes may become necessary for safety considerations or to improve the quality of an activity. This could be due to weather, environmental conditions or any other cause. These changes will always be at the discretion of the leader in charge and Meridian Kayak Adventures. NO refunds will be available in the event of these changes.
MINIMUM NUMBERS
Meridian Kayak reserves the right to cancel any activity due to lack of minimum numbers or unsafe conditions. You will be notified as soon as possible. Deposits and fees paid can either be transferred to another activity or refunded in full. |
